Mojo

My name is Mojo and I am a 6 years old, female Beagle. I were born on 24 December 2003 and is named after the villian, Mojo JoJo, a crazy monkey in Powerpuff Girls (which used to be Mummy fav cartoon show).

Mummy and Daddy said that I were a real terror when I were a puppy. "If you have a beagle, you would know what I mean", that's what Mummy would say to you. I love to chew and I would destroy everything that looked interesting and could get my mouth on. I got chided and punished for chewing up cables and a couple of dvds, transformed numerous pairs of Mummy's heels into flats, chewed through a false wall and etc. I weren't sure why Mummy and Daddy were so mad since they left those things there in the open in the first place and I were really sad to be left alone at home they were out working. Now I understand that chewing up things I shouldn't would upset Mummy and Daddy and by not doing so Mummy and Daddy would be so proud of me and give me lots of yummy treats.

I am a really shy gal and am most comfortable at home. My favourite activities are a game of hide and seek with Mummy, Daddy and Kyubi, trying to get treats out of the treats ball, looking out of the window and simply lazing at my favourite spot on the couch.

At night, I would sleep in the bedroom with Mummy and Daddy. I have a big bean bag as a bed but I would jump onto Mummy's and Daddy's bed for warmth when it gets cold in the middle of the night. Mummy always accuses me of snoring in my sleep and would chase me out of their bed sometimes.

I LOVE FOOD!! Anything that you are willing to feed me with, I would be happy to stuff it down my throat. Seeing how much I love to eat, Mummy and Daddy made me learn a few tricks to earn my own treats. I know how to shake paw, lie down and roll over, play dead, answer questions by barking and recently I have even learnt to solve some simple calculations! I would start doing all the tricks without command upon seeing the cookie jar so I could get the treats sooner! YUM!!

I love following Mummy to the studio. I would hide behind the counter or under the grooming table, or sit on Mummy's lap most of the time cos I feel safer. These are my "safe zones" when I feel insecure. I would love to greet you when you come to the studio but I am really shy so please give me some time to get used to your presence.

Kyubi

Hello! My name is Kyubi and I am a 4 years old, female JRT X Corgi (I have been mistaken for a Schnauzer or Westie many times!). I was born on 17 September 2005 and is named after the monster, a 9-tails fox, residing in Naruto (a japanese anime which Mummy and Daddy were into).

I fell in love with Mummy and Daddy at first sight and made them bring me home from that tiny cage I used to live in. Ever since then, I am a Mummy's girl.

Mojo's my big sister and just like Mummy and Daddy, she couldn't resist my charms. Mummy always say that I was a much better puppy cos I did not get into as much trouble as Mojo. When Mummy and Daddy weren't around, Mojo showed me the pleasures of tearing and chewing up newspapers. Gosh we got into so much trouble when Mummy and Daddy got home.

What upseted Mummy and Daddy was I took a long time to learn that I am not supposed to pee and poo anywhere I fancy. I would also lose control of my bladder when I get excited. Now, I know that peeing and pooing at the wrong places makes Mummy and Daddy angry. Mummy would now remind me now and then to go pee at my pee tray so that I wouldn't hold my bladder and lose control afterwards. Hey but I do know where and when to poo without having Mummy or Daddy to remind me.

They always say that Mojo is a smarter gal than me and that I am more of a blur queen but I beg to differ. See how Mojo has to earn her tricks by performing so many tricks and I don't?! Mummy and Daddy tried to teach me the same tricks that they taught Mojo but I find some of them are really confusing. Eventually, they are satisfied with my paw shaking, lie down and playing "half-dead". Still, I get the same amount of treats as Mojo but I swear her treats are always bigger than mine!!!

I love to play hide and seek with Mummy, Daddy and Mojo. I would always be able to find the hidden just by following Mojo's lead. Who says I'm not smart? I just let Mojo do all the work and then claim the reward! I love Mojo and irritating her is so much fun. Though we get one each of the same toy, I would always fight with Mojo for the same one cos it much more fun snatching hers away. Mojo would usually give in to me and then run to Mummy for help. What a loser! :)

I hate taking my breakfast and Mummy would always threaten to give my share to Mojo if I do not finish it. Reluctantly, I would always finish my breakfast so that Mojo does not eat MY share.

I love coming to the studio with Mummy! I love meeting people and fellow canines and I would welcome you with wet kisses when you visit.
